Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, “Every single servant who swallows his anger is increased in honor by Allah, Mighty and Exalted, in this world and in the Hereafter (scale of wisdom h. #4229)

Do not prescribe any remedy for an arrogant ruler, for it it benefits him, he will fail to show gratitude to you, and if it harms him he will accuse you (Imam Al-Husayn (AS) Bihar al-Anwar, V. 62, p. 140, #2, narrated in scale of wisdom, h. #2277)
