a treasurer of knowledge
He made me city of the knowledge and made him (Imam Ali (AS)) its gate. He made him a treasurer of the knowledge and the source from whom divine laws are received. He blessed him with specific divine appointment, made clear his position, forwarned against animosity to him and made affection towards him obligatory, enjoining all people to obey him.
