I came across some old khutbahs of Imam Mohamed Al Asi on http://www.geocities.com/khutbahs that date back to the 1990’s.
Just going through the few old khutbahs that are there, it’s very easy to see why Imam Mohammed Al Asi is a target of the establishments.
We pray to Allah that He bless us with more scholars of this calibre. Imam Asi is a prime example of a Muslim who is TRANS-NATIONAL AND TRANS-MADH’HAB. We need more people like him who have a universal appeal for all Muslims.

    Couldn’t agree more with Umar.
It’s time the Muslims mature betond their perculiar traditions and culture and backgrounds. We have to be Muslims first and last. We have to belong to Allah.
May Allah protect Imam Asi so that he can reach out to the Muslims and show them their follies- be they sunni or shi’i.

We need Imam Asi here more often. He brings a “refresher” for the long lost meanings of the Qur’an, Sunnah and the Unity of the Ummah.
