If they see a momin, they will respect him. If they see a kafir, they will abandon him. If a person in need comes to see them, they will have mercy upon him and help him by using their own property. (Imam Jafer Sadeq (AS) Mishkat al-Anwar of Hassan ibn Fazl ibn Hassan Tabarsi, ch. 2, h. #297)

Sheikh Ibn ‘Arabi’s Divine Sayings is one of the most important and influential early collections of hadith qudsi. It comprises 101 sayings, drawn from the oral tradition as well as written collections.

Rasul Allah (may Allah give him and his Family blessings and peace) said:

“Allah, ever mighty and majestic is He, says to the world (dunya): “O world, serve the one who serves Me, and wear out the one who serves you.” (Mishkat Al-Anwar of Ibn ‘Arabi, part 3, #13, h. 93)

The Prophet, peace be upon him and his Family, said: “On the Day of Reckoning, the nearest to me will be those who are most truthful in their speech and the most ardent in paying back what has been entrusted to them, and the most faithful in fulfilling their promises, the best in their behaviour and the most amiable to the people. (narrated by Imam Muhammad b. Ali al-Baqir, in Al Amali, ch. 7, #13)

US Deputy National Security Advisor Elliott Abrams — who helped divert money to the Nicaraguan Contras in the 1980s and who was convicted of lying to Congress in the Iran-Contra scandal — has spearheaded the effort to set up these Palestinian Contras. Abrams is also notorious for helping to cover up massacres and atrocities committed against civilians in El Salvador by US-backed militias and death squads.

The core of US strategy in the Southwest and Central Asia, particularly Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, and Lebanon is to establish puppet regimes that will fight America’s enemies on its behalf. This strategy seems to be failing everywhere.
