Ar Rahman
Allah (swt) in Sura Ar Rahman (55) reminds humans and jinn of the beauty and abundance that we have been given here, and what awaits us in the next.
But not only are we forgetful of this beauty, we actively deny Allah’s bounties, and disrupt the balance. And, as a result, cause immense zulm (oppression) on others, and on ourselves.
This Sura provides the finest reminder of our obligation to care for our environment – because this is a gift from Allah. When we ignore and destroy our ecology, we turn away and deny a beautiful gift from our Sustainer. And when we deny the next world – it is as if we are living a delusion.
This flash presentation is not quite complete – you can read the English interpertation for about a 1/4 of the Sura, and I may change some of the photographs. Click here to view flash presentation.

This ingratitude to what Allah has blessed us with, and given us the roles of caretakers on the earth, is very apparent in our modern society.
The greed and abuse of the environment does not go without consequences. We are now battling global warming, peak oil, pollution, dwindling food sources and water, etc.
Allah placed laws througout the universe and when humanity tends to ignore Allah’s laws, we upset the balance.
All the problems we have today, are from our own hands.
Humanity needs to turn back to God, and ask help for the problems we have brought upon ourselves. We need to share, and be satisfied with less, if we are to make it on this earth together.
